  4. Hi Ms. Ramsey,

Just wondering if you would ever consider writing guides for the other books?

    1. YES! I am currently researching the guide for Queens' Play, although it may be some time before its ready for publication. I hope to complete a guide for each of the books in series. Thanks for asking. ~Laura.

    2. That'll be wonderful. I'm sure you get this a lot, but is there anything I can do to help? I have no idea what I could possibly do (I'm a college student whose specialty is very much not in the humanities), and you probably already have a system of research. But, erm, worth a shot just asking, right?

  5. Thank you for offering ~ it is much appreciated. And I may call on you, yet!

I do have a "library" of on-line books and resources; it is constantly evolving but I find myself going to a the same core books repeatedly. One such resource for The Game of Kings was Chambers Encyclopedia; I later discovered Dorothy herself used Chambers during her research! (Amongst a bevy of other books, of course.) I’m in the process of adding to the library as the focus has now changed from Scotland to France. Researching each entry is like a treasure hunt ~ I never quite know what I’m going to find or how exactly I’m going to find it.

  6. Well, I've emailed you my contact details if you're ever in need of a college student who can, er, google things... and look things up in their college library... I look forward to the next guide!
